Résumé : |
The thesis topic is the study of the performance of codes adapted to high-speed optical transmissions. In the first chapter, we discussed notions about the theory of information. We also highlighted the different TDMA multiple access techniques, WDMA, FDMA and the optical CDMA technique. Then we detailed the techniques of NRZ and RZ intensity modulation and detection techniques (direct, consistent) used in OCDMA systems and finally we have detailed the different noises that may undergo optical transmission such as shot noise and thermal noise….etc. In the second chapter, we focused first on the mathematical study and the architectural components of a SAC-OCDMA 1D system. Second phase, we proposed an architecture of a two-dimensional SAC-OCDMA system. Finally, then we have describes the code most used in optical transmissions known as EDEU, and the construction of its control matrix. Chapter three is regarded as the most important since it introduces the study of SACOCDMA 2D theoretical performance compared to SAC-OCDMA performance in 1D, under MATLAB representation of this matrix and the coding and decoding. The simulation also concerned the evaluation of the performance of BER of a system using EDEU code in 1D and 2D, studied to see the impact of using an EDEU code in SACOCDMA 2D W/S. The results obtained provided certainty about the importance of EDEU 2D codes in OCDMA systems. Therefore, to increase number of active users by using different couplers. |
